Tallahassee's Barbershop Quartets

In-A-Chord has been doing their part since 2008 to keep the American tradition of barbershop harmony alive and well in the greater Tallahassee area!  During 2010, they performed over 30 times for a variety of public and private audiences:  groups of school children, church members, residents of elder care facilities, individuals affiliated with non-profit service organizations, political and patriotic events, and attendees of birthday parties, anniversary events, and other special activities.  They were also an integral part of the shows put on by the Capital Chordsmen of Tallahassee, including the annual show, the special quartet show, the gospel shows, and the Christmas show.  If you are planning a special event, you should know that while cheerful songs and expressions of love are always popular choices (for Mother’s Day, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.), we also have a repertoire of songs suitable for other occasions as well (business social events, retirement parties, hospital visits, memorial services, etc.), and we will be happy to work with you to ensure that our appearance and song selection will meet your needs!  For 2011, In-A-Chord is planning to compete at the Sunshine District’s fall convention, when they will appear using their alternate name, Re-Chord (as registered with the Barbershop Harmony Society: #502030).
